Activities
Social Contribution Activities
We are based in the Kitakyushu area and continue to work with the local community.
We aim to support the value of local culture and education. We provide elementary schoolchildren with plant tours and promote various events in the Kitakyushu area. As part of our social welfare activities, we sponsor rehabilitation facilities for the disabled.
We will continue engaging in community and social contribution activities to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
Plant Tours for Elementary Schoolchildren
We offer easy-to-understand tours from the beginning to the final stages of production.
We offer plant tours to elementary schools in the Kitakyushu area.
As part of social studies classes, we provide children with an opportunity to learn how drums, rarely seen in daily life, are made through classroom lectures and plant tours.
Supporting the Giravanz Kitakyushu and Cooperating in Events in the Kitakyushu Area
We support various local community activities to help the community we grew up with.
We support the Giravanz Kitakyushu, a local professional soccer club.
We also support other major events in the Kitakyushu area.
Social Welfare Support
We will engage in social contribution activities that build and deepen relationships of trust for the betterment of society and the community.
We also dispatch management executives to Kitakyushu Friends, a social welfare corporation (a vocational aid center for the severely disabled in Katsuki, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu), in addition to providing support activities, such as ordering printed materials and collaborating in the sale of artwork.
Emergency Assistance for Disasters
We provide emergency humanitarian aid activities in the event of large-scale disasters and activities for disaster prevention and mitigation.
During the response to the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, fuel containers were needed in the area. At the request of the Japan Steel Drum Association, we delivered drums to the affected areas.
